Taurus 709 Slim – 9MM – 8 Round ProMag Magazine TAU21 We tried and tested several of Promag’s TAU21 magazines in a Taurus PT-709 Slim. The size of the 8 round magazine with spacer adds enough length to the handle to add comfort and controllability. There are small gaps between the frame, spacer and magazine but they don’t interfere with fit and function. The 8 round magazine went in stiffly, pushing the mag release or giving the bottom of the mag a stiff smack was needed to seat but ejected smoothly.
